New Dance Theatre, Dance Building

The UGA Department of Dance presents SAGA, celebrating Black History through Performance. The concert will be held on Friday, February 16th at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 17th at 2:30 p.m. in the New Dance Theatre at the Dance Building on Green Street off of Sanford Drive. With choreographic works that explores the African and the diaspora experience through performance, this high energy show will include performances by the UGA Dance Company students and guest performances by other universities, dance studios, dance groups and live professional African drum musicians.

Tickets are on sale now at the Performing Arts Center and Tate Center box offices, by phone at 706-542-4400 and online at pac.uga.edu. Tickets will also be available at the door one hour before each performance, however, advance purchase is strongly recommended. Free parking is available in lots adjacent to the UGA Department of Dance after 5:00 p.m., or at the South Campus Parking Deck next to the Georgia Center for Continuing Education for a fee. 
$5 students/seniors, $8 general admission
